Shunsuke Nakamura (中村俊輔, Nakamura Shunsuke?, born 24 June 1978 in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture) is a Japanese football player who currently plays for Celtic in the Scottish Premier League. He is one of the most prominent and successful Asian players to have played in Europe and on 13 September 2006 became the first Japanese player to score in the Champions League and the second Asian player to do so.

Nakamura is great - I've seen him loads of times playing for Celtic. His free kicks are amazing

He is always smiling and trying his best for the team !!! We will all miss him when he goes back to Japan

Because of him Celtic has loads of support from Japan, and I have made a few Japanese friends who have travelled to watch him

HelicaseHelio and I were always sitting on the stairs, chatting about the lamina and occasionally making snide remarks about ribosomes. There wasn't much for us to do. Our job was to simply be, and let the RNA scribble down the letters on our foreheads when they came around every once in a while. Helio was a G, I was a C. It wasn't exactly fulfilling, I suppose. There wasn't much to be filled. So to pass the time, we talked.
